Welcome 2016! I hope you’ve had fun in your holidays and that this year is better than last year. 2015 brought many great things, so ive tried to narrow my list of favorites down. This was hard for me to do because, What to pick ? and What to leave out? So withouth further ado, I give you my list of favorite things in 2015.

Bienvenido 2016! Espero que hayan pasado unas felices fiestas y que el 2016 sea para ustedes mejor que el año anterior. El 2015 trajo muchas cosas, ésta lista se me hizo bien difícil de hacer. Hay muchas cosas que me encantan, pero no podía ponerlas todas así que creo hice una buena selección. Abajo verán la lista de mis favoritos del 2015

1.Céline sunglasses

Clearly, my boyfriend’s a genius because he got me my first pair of Celine’s sunnies for my birthday. There’s sometimg about them, I swear whenever I use them, I never wanna take them off.

Claramente, mi novio es un genio, porqué me las regaló de cumpleaños y no he parado de utilizarlas desde entonces.

2.YSL Handbags

  

YSL bags are just insanely luxe & beautiful. I fell in love with my first YSL back in July & purchased another YSL bag instead. But come my birthday, the Classic Large Monogram Saint Laurent Matelasse Leather bag was in my loving arms. I love the size & the versatility of the bag. It easily transitions from a day to night time bag. It is without a doubt, my favorite statement piece of 2015.

Vi esta cartera por primera vez en NYC en juilio y quedé enamorada. Es un bolso clásico y muy versátil. Me encanta el tamaño y que la puedo usar tanto de día, como de noche. Sin duda alguna es mi statement favorito del 2015.

3.Liquid Lipsticks

For those of you that follow my social media feeds (instagram @misslluviaconsol) you are very familiar with my tiny itty bitty liquid lipstick obsession. In 2015 this was the kind of lipstick I used the most. I love a lipstick with a matte finish. Some of my favorite liquid lippies from 2015 are: Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid lipstick in “Sad Girl”, “Veronica” & “Vamp”, Kat Von D’s everlasting liquid lipstick in “Bow n Arrow” & “Bauhau5”, Stila Cosmetics liquid lipstick in “Patina”.

Las que me siguen por mis redes sociales saben mi pequeña obsesión con los liquid lipsticks. En el 2015 usé y compré muchísimo estos labiales. Me encanta el acabado de los labiales en matte y los liquid lipstick son una nueva y divertida alternativa a los labiales tradicionales . Entre mis favoritos estan: de Anastasia Beverly Hills: Sad Girl, Veronica & Vamp. De Kat Von D : Bow n Arrow y Bauhau5. De Stila Cosmetics, “Patina”.

4. Flared jeans/pants

Now there’s something about wearing extra wide legged pants that make me feel instantly cooler. I wish my closet was full of these.

No se que es, pero cada vez que me pongo pantalones acampanados o de pata ancha me siento instantaneamente mas cool. Tengo unos cuantos, pero no veo el día en que mi closet esté lleno de pantalones en este estilo.

5. Redken Frizz dismiss hair products

Living in this humid tropical island frizz has been a huge problem for my hair; that is until I discovered Redken “Frizz Dismiss” line of products. They have been like the medicine my sick/dull hair didnt know that it needed.

No es secreto que la humedad y el calor son los peores enemigos de cualquier cabello (en especial el mio). La linea De productos frizz dismiss de Redken es quien me mantiene el pelo bajo control. Estos productos le han dado vida, brillo y mantenimento a mi cabello. Los uso a diario y me funcionan para lidiar con los efectos del clima en mi cabello.

6.Bourbon

 There’s nothing more satisfying than enjoying a good cocktail at the end of a long day. I specially enjoyed bourbon this year (thanks to my in law, the ninja, for introducing me to Kentucky’s finest).

No hay nada que me plazca más que tomarme un buen bourbon en buena compañía, luego de un largo día.

7.Santaella

Best place to get your drink on in Puerto Rico by far! The mixologists are friendly & knowledgable, the ambiance is great & the food is always fresh and delicious. Never get tired of going.

El restaurante con la mejor barra de todo Puerto Rico. Los mixólogos son excelentes, amistosos y complacientes. El ambiente es perfecto y la comida fresca y deliciosa.

8.Sophia Webster Shoes

  

 What can I say? I’m a sucker for shoes. What I like the most about Sophia Webster shoes is that theyre unique, fun & comfy. Its like a classic shoe, but with a twist.

En general, adoro los zapatos. Pero me encantan los zapatos diferentes; aquellos que le dan un giro o toque inesperado a un estilo clásico. Los zapatos de la diseñadora Sophia Webster me han enamorado en el 2015. Son únicos, divertidos y cómodos. Para ser zapatos de una marca de lujo, entiendo que tienen precios asequibles.

9.Too Faced Cosmetics eye shadow palettes       

I tried & tested my share of eyeshadow palettes in 2015, but I always ended up reaching for my Too Faced palettes. I got 4 different Too Faced eyeshadow palettes in 2015 (“The Return of Sexy”, “Love”, “Chocolate Bar” & “Stardust” eyeshadow palettes). I love their colors, pigmentation, texture & packaging. I love that all of Too Faced palettes include a pamphlet with mini tutorials & ideas on how to apply the eyeshadows. The 2 palettes I used the most were “The Chocolate Bar” & “Stardust”.

En el 2015 compré muchas paletas de sombras, pero compré 4 paletas Too Faced. Traté otras paletas de otras marcas pero siempre mis favoritas son de Too Faced. Me encantan sus colores, empaque, pigmentación y formula. Cada paleta de sombras Too Faced tambien incluye un manual de como usar la paleta y ejemplos de maquillaje para los ojos. Si tuviera que escoger solo 2 paletas para usar por el resto del año, sin duda alguna serían : “Chocolate Bar” y “Stardust” de la youtuber, Vegas Nay.

10.Culebra 

No matter how many times I go to Culebra, I’m always amazed by its beauty. Its my happy place.

No importa cuantas veces vaya, no me canso de ir a Culebra. Cada vez que voy es desconexión total. Sus playas son como ninguna otra en Puerto Rico.

11.Aveeno Positively  radiant daily cleansing pads 

Hands down best drugstore product of 2015. These are amazing makeup removing & cleansing pads. They can be used on both sides; one is for scrubbing away impurities & the other is the cleansing soapy side. Will definetely repurchase when i ran out of them. A must have!

Sin lugar a dudas mi producto favorito de farmacia del 2015. Son unas toallitas limpiadoras que uso para lavar mi cara y remover maquillaje. Me dejan el rostro super refrescado y limpio luego de utilozarlas. Esto es algo que continuaré utilizando por mucho tiempo. Son un “must have”.
12.Nikkie Tutorials & Jaclyn Hill

  

 My love & awe for their makeup skills is neverending. They’re as entertaining as they’re are skilled so you can imagine the fun I had all year long watching these two.

Mi admiración y amor por la destreza de ellas dos en el maquillaje es del más allá. Tienen tanta personalidad como destreza al maquillarse, así que imaginen lo mucho que me he divertido viendo los videos y tutoriales de estas youtubers durante el pasado año

13.Snapchat ????

 
What a pleasant surprise of an app! I get to document in tiny snippets my day & its erased in 24 hours! Genius!

Esta aplicación ha sido la sorpresa del 2015. Me encanta por que “documento” mi día a día en pequeños videos que se borran en 24 horas. Añádanme como MSLLUVIACONSOL.

14. Kat Von D studded kiss lipstick in “Lovecraft”

This lipstick is the creamiest matte lipstick I have. I wore this lippie the most in 2015. The shade is this mauve perfect kinda dark pink. The color of this lipstick was for me the “it” lip shade of 2015. I bought two of these in 2015, so you know I loved it.

Este labial tiene un acabado en matte pero hace que mis labios se sientan cremosos e hidratados. El color es un rosa malva, que para mi es el tono que más estuvo in en el 2015. Compré 2 labiales de esto en menos de 3 meses. Así de mucho me gusta
15. Highlighters/Iluminadores 

 Hands down this was my favorite makeup product to use in 2015. There are so many good ones, and I tried many different ones but these 2 are my absolute favorites: Becca Cosmetics “Champagne Pop” & MAC Cosmetics “Oh Darling” skin finish.

Los iluminadores o “highlighters” han sido mi producto de belleza favorito del 2015. Me encantan como añade luz a mi rostro y le da ese toque extra al makeup. Traté muchos en el 2015, pero mis favoritos lo son: “Champagne Pop” de Becca Cosmetics y “Oh Darling” de MAC Cosmetics.
