My Birthday Wish List

Oh its that time of the year again! September (my birthday month FYI) is upon us and on the 27th I’ll be a year older (and wiser, of course). On that note, I’m making a birthday wish list, with the teensy weensy hope some of the thing I wish for magically appear on my doorstep. Keep in mind that the best things in life are not things, but moments; and the intangible things like love, health & happiness for me; & my loved ones, which are things I wish for all year long. With that said, on to my wish list!!!

Al fin llegó septiembre, el mes de mi cumpleaños! El día 27 celebraré un año más de vida y he decidido hacer un pequeño “wish list” o lista de deseos. Hago esta lista con la esperanza de que alguno de los objetos que están en ésta aparezcan como por arte de magia en mi casa. Obviamente alguna de las cosas en la lista son meramente eso, deseos. Las cosas que son verdaderamente importante en la vida, no son cosas; lo son más bien los momentos y cosas intangibles, como el amor, la salud y la felicidad, cosas que deseo y le pido a Dios el año entero. Un día al año, no está de más soñar! Abajo mi lista.

Ok I admit it! I’ve been OBSESSING about Aquazzura Christy flats for as long as I can remember. But now there are so many different styles that I’m torn between which ones I like the most. HELP!

-Ok, lo admito. Llevo obsesionada ya mucho tiempo con los zapatos “Christy” de Aquazzura, pero ahora hay muchos estilos de otras marcas que me encantan tanto, no se cual me gusta más. Ayúdenme!!!

2.I went to New York last July and fell in LOVE with this bag; pricey but practical. A classic, ultra feminine bag.

3. Need new running shoes I kinda wore mine out, my all time favorite tennis shoes (for running, mind you) brand is Brooks. Saw these and the rest is history.

-Necesito unos tenis nuevos por que los míos ya están bastante maltratados. Para comprar tennis para correr me gusta y me funcionan los de la marca Brooks. Vi éstos y el resto es historia.

4.Kate spade bedding is everything. I’m a sucker for polka dots and these are the cutest ever!

6.Booties- I’m torn between buying casual or a fancy booties!I’m leaning towards the fancier one, but me thinks I’ll use the casual ones more.

-Este zapato/bota es el estilo perfecto en un zapato. Tienes lo edgy de una bota y lo femenino de un taco a la misma vez. Estoy entre estos dos modelos; uno más elegante y otro más casual. La realidad es que decidiré cuando me mida ambos a ver cual se me hace mas cómodo.

7.Too faced chocolate/semi sweet chocolate bar eyeshadow palette. I’m so torn between these two but I think I need the original one. The colors are overall more functional.

-Estas dos son las paletas de sombras más famosas de Too Faced. Un “must” en cualquier cartera de cosméticos.

8. Clé de peau concelear is so good! Can you believe I lost mine?! I don’t even know how that happened but its the best concealer ever and I need it back in my life!

-Este corrector es mi favorito y se me perdió!!! Ni sé como lo perdí , lo que si sé es que lo necesito de vuelta en mi vida RUSH!

9. Kat Von D Bow and arrow is legendary. If you find it get it, don’t even think twice about it. I’ve been looking for it for about 3 months now with no luck!

-Este labial es legendario; llevo aproximadamente 3 meses buscándolo y no lo encuentro. Si cualquiera de ustedes lo encuentra , no lo piense dos veces y cómprenlo.

1o. Makeup/cosmetics bag- I already hace a beautiful one but all my stuff does not fit in there. This one I’ll use to put my large eyeshadow palettes & brushes.

-Tengo una cartera de cosméticos hermosa pero no me caben las paletas grandes de sombras, ni las brochas! Me hace falta una para guardarlas y estas me parecen divinas.

11.White/beige leather pumps. I dont know what I’ve been wanting off white leather pumps for a while; but getting the right shade of white is tricky. Too white looks too 80’s and if they’re too nude its not the right shade. These Sophia Webster are “porcelain colored”; just perfect!

-No sé por que, pero se me hacen súper necesarios tacos tipo “pumps cerrados color blanco/crema. No había visto unos con el color perfecto hasta que encontré estos de Sophia Webster.

12. I already have a camera but it is too big to fit in my bag and uncomfortable to carry around for events. This one is just the perfect size.

-Tengo una cámara pero se me hace muy incómoda cargar ya que es gigante, y no me cabe en ninguna de mis carteras. Me encantaría tener esta Sony que es el tamaño perfecto.
