Spring Shopping Haul

This year is going by way too fast! Spring is already here, which means I had the difficult task of going (yeah, you guessed it!) Spring shopping (kinda’ like Spring cleaning but better!). I’ve made today’s post a haul of what I think are some key pieces for this season that’ll give your wardrobe an instant update. Este año se ha ido VOLANDO! Ya entramos a la primavera y con ella vienen nuevos estilos/tendencias/ ropa/moda/productos que van de acuerdo a la temporada. Con esto en mente, tuve la ardua tarea de irme de compras, y encontré unas cuantas piezas claves para tener mi armario listo para esta temporada. Prada 54MM Gradient Sunglasses

-I did not set out to buy this sunglasses. I already had Fendi pair in mind that I wanted to buy but fell in love with these instead. These are perfect for summer and the lens color is beautiful, they’re fun but class at the same time.

-Estas no eran las gafas del sol que originalmente quería. Salía a comprar ESTAS de Fendi, pero me enamoré de otras. Estos lentes de sol son perfectos para el verano, el color de lente es bello con tonos rosados en degradación de más oscuro a mas pálido. Son divertidas y clásicas a la misma vez

Bcbgeneration Ellis Flat Ankle Wrap Sandal

-While window shopping at the mall I stumbled upon the store Bcbgeneration, and found out that there was a huge sale (everything was 50% off). So of course I went straight for the shoes and bought 2 pairs. The first ones I bought, I had been wanting for a long time, and with the lowered price, I didn’t think twice about it & got them. They’re super comfy flatforms that can be worn at day or at night.

I also purchased some the thong sandals that kinda have a plastic sole that makes ’em ideal for beach or pool outings, but the silver metallic part on them gives them a hint of shimmer that also makes them seem very chic.

-Caminando por el mall me topé con que la tienda Bcbgeneration tenía un 50% de descuento en TODO. Llevaba un tiempo mirando estas sandalias y con el precio ajustado ni lo pensé dos veces, y las compré! Muy cómodas y tienen un poco de plataforma lo que las hace que no sean totalmente planas.

También me compré estas sandalias en la tienda que no aparecen online. Son como plásticas, ideales para la playa, y a la vez no son tan casuales porque la parte metálica les da un toque muy chic.

-I had been dying over a really good pair of gladiator sandals and could not find one that spoke to me. These did the trick, and have everything, fringe, leather & suede. These are statement making gladiator sandals.

-Hace tiempo quería un buen par de sandalias gladiadoras y nunca encontraba ninguna que me encantara. Estas son TODO, cómodas, bohemias y versátiles.

Vince Camuto Troy Caged Sandals (in Sandbar)

-I had been afraid to try cage-y boot like sandals but the color on these juts got to me. They’re soft pink, kinda nude colored with silver accents.

-Y estas son divinas, las encontré en Macy’s. El color es rosa pálido casi color carne y en el medio de la sandalia tiene unos toques en plata bellos.

Its has cute bright colors. The perfect clutch for a spring/summer night outing or a casual weekend

-Colores brillantes perfectos y muy acertados para la temporada de primavera/verano. Igualmente muy versatil, ya que la puedo usar de noche o de día.

Absolutey, the CUTEST bag I own. It was just too good to pass on. However, the material of the bag is very sensitive and it gets scratched easily.

-Sin duda alguna, es la cartera más linda que tengo. No pude resisitir comprarmela. El material de la cartera es súper delicado y se raspa, o ensucia con facilidad.

-All the handbags I found I got at Sak’s. I wanted some 70’s vibe, high waisted flared jeans in just the right shade of denim and found these:

-I was recently given the Ok by my doctor to run again after a LONG injury (more on that on the next post) and I wanted some funky but comfy (hey that rhymed!) pants to run in. These did the trick for me.

-El doctor hace muy poco me dio el visto bueno para volver a correre. Estuve sin correr por un largo periodo de tiempo (más sobre eso en la próxima publicación) y quería unos pantalones cómodos y divertidos para ejercitarme. Estos quedan divinos.

-Most of my every day clothes I buy at Banana Republic, because their pieces are extremely wearable. I bought some cute comfy tees and graphic tees to dress up with a blazer and some jeans. And I found my new favorite jeans, the “Distressed Boyfriend Jeans“ which are a gem. Great “boyfriend fit” jeans and just the right length. I have used them with both Birkenstocks, and sky high Louboutins.

-Mi armario tiene muchas piezas de Banana Republic, por la versatilidad de las mismas. Compré camisetas para vestirlas con una chaqueta y mahones. Encontré mis nuevos mahones o jeans favoritos tipo “boyfriend”. Los he combinado con todo, desde lo más casual, hasta con tacos altos y blusa de vestir.

-I’m a sucker for anything with an anchor or nautical related so I could not not buy this anchor printed bikini & matching maxi dress. I bought the flyaway bikini crop top with the reversible bikini bottom

-Me encanta todo lo que tenga anclas y motivos náuticos. Me encantó este bikini por que la parte de arriba es “crop top” y la de abajo es reversible. Obviamente, me tuve que comprar el traje tipo maxi que hace juego con el traje de baño.

Este traje baño de una pieza me lo regalo mi novio y costó 17 dólares. Viene también en otro color (gris con violeta) pero este color suave verde menta me encanta para esta temporada. Me gusta que se puede combinar con un pantalón corto o una falda y utilizarlo como top.

-I had a few events I had to attend, and had to buy something cute in a really short amount of time. BCBG always has great stuff.

-Tenía unas actividades y necesitaba comprarme algo apropiado. En BCBG siempre encuentro fácilmente piezas a la moda y con buen entalle.

-Hay muchísimas cosas en la tienda, escogí piezas que las pudiera combinar con otras ya en mi armario, o piezas que le dieran ese toque de color a un outfit.
