Trend Alert: Dress up your sneakers

New York Fashion week has already come and gone, and in its trail, it has left us with lots of new ideas and fashion inspiration. Today’s trend alert has been going on for the summer season, but is coming on full swing for fall and, as I expected, we saw a lot of this trend on fashion week. This is the comfiest of trends, and is a perfect example of mixing high and low styles; think wearing a dress or a suit with sneakers!

Choose yours sneakers wisely, they’ll carry the whole look. Invest in a great looking pair of sneakers and don’t be afraid to wear skirts (any length, and all shapes) or long dresses with it. For fall, wear your sneakers with a leather skirt and an oversized sweater. Sneakers are so easy but look so damn cool!

New York Fashion Week ya culminó, y su final nos dejó con muchas ideas e inspiraciones de las nuevas tendencias de la moda. La tendencia de hoy, no es del todo nueva, ya la llevamos viendo desde esta pasada temporada de verano, y como me lo sospechaba, el “trend alert” de hoy en fue visto en repetidas ocasiones en la semana de la moda en New York. Esta una de las tendencias más cómodas que hay: vestidos, faldas y suits con tenis o zapatillas deportivas! La combinación de los estilos más formales, con el calzado o accesorios mas casuales es lo que esta “in” en la moda para lo que resta del año.

A la hora de escoger o comprar tus tenis, procura hacer una buena selección, teniendo en cuenta que los tenis son los que completarán el look. Elige unos tenis que “se vean bien” y no tengas miedo de combinarlos con faldas o trajes. El outfit perfecto para otoño son los tenis con un sweater “oversized” y una falda en cuero. Los tenis son fáciles de llevar y combinar y a la misma vez se ven super cool con todo.
